Our beaches

Combe Martin Bay offers a safe place for many activities and all ages. With some of the best rock pools in the area, there’s lots to discover on the main beach.  You can hire kayaks and paddle boards in the village, exploring in the safe water of the bay. Sea fishing is also popular from the bay, with course fishing nearby too. And of course, you can just relax in the sun on the beach and watch the sun go down over the horizon in the evening. View our live Combe Martin Beach Webcam below.
To find up to date information on the tide times, the weather and fishing for today or the next week, go to Tide Charts website.

Dog-friendly beaches at Combe Martin

Combe Martin has two beaches; the main harbour beach is sandy and stony and Newberry beach is stony. Both beaches have excellent rock pools. Dogs are allowed on the main beach between 1st October to 30th April and are not allowed on the main beach between 1st May and 30th September. Newberry beach is dog-friendly all year and is a short walk along the pavement from the village. At low tide the two beaches join onto a wide sandy beach, below the weir.
